Accommodation, Camping and Van Life:
We know that after a day on the trail it’s great to have a nice place to call home for the night. We’ve partnered with quality hotels in our host communities to offer you affordable accommodation options. You choose where you want to sleep and how much you want to pay. We’re currently working on our 2025 Accommodation Plan - details will be posted soon.
Some of our host communities have very limited accommodations options so we are working on planning group camping options for certain stages - stay tuned for details. If camping is not your style we encourage you to book early and remember to check airbnb or vrbo for communities where hotel accommodation is limited.
*Note: accommodation is not included in your entry.
Access:
The West Kootenays are located in the interior of British Columbia, about 7 hours drive from Calgary and 8 hours drive from Vancouver. You can also fly directly into Castlegar with connections from Vancouver and Calgary. The nearest major US airport is Spokane, Washington, just 3 hours away.
2 Distances each day!
We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience ST6 their own way, so we’re excited to announce the return of the Half Pint and Full Pint race options!
The Full Pint will be the legendary ST6 we all know and love: a full-bodied, no-holds-barred, “difficult but doable” challenge that pushes your boundaries to the limit. Each Full Pint stage will target 1000m-1500m of climbing, perfect for those seeking the ultimate test.
Prefer a little moderation? The Half Pint option offers a more approachable yet equally thrilling experience with 100 percent of the taste and only half the calories… well, maybe a bit more than half. Each Half Pint stage will target 600m-1000m of climbing, ensuring a satisfying ride without the full commitment.
Distance Guidelines:
Full Pint: 30-45km distance and 1,100 - 1,600m of climbing daily - 2:00 - 6:00 hour finishing time
Half Pint: 20-35 km distance and 600 - 1,000m of climbing daily - 1:20 - 4:00 hour finishing time
Half Pint riders will start after the full pint with a strategic course cutoff that allows them to merge with the Full Pint group in a way that minimizes traffic and passing interactions. Timed descents will be offered for all Full Pint stages and Half Pint whenever possible with course logistics. All categories may choose full or half pint but must stick with their registered distance in order to maintain a GC ranking. You can always switch your distance but will no longer be ranked in your category.
2025 Categories and Awards:
Singletrack 6:
Pro/Elite Men and Women (Full Pint Only)
Under 50 Open Men and Women (Full or Half Pint)
50-59 Men and Women (Full or Half Pint)
60+ Men and Women (Full or Half Pint)
Non Binary Open (Full or Half Pint)
Important note: all categories must have a minimum of 5 entries on May 1, 2025 or they may be combined with another category at the organizer’s discretion. A category with more than 5 entries may still be combined with another category with less than 5 entries. All categories are subject to having another category of 5 or less riders of adjacent ages combined with it.
ST3 Flex Pass:
For the ultimate in flexibility, choose the ST3 Flex Pass. Ride any 3 stages during the 2025 Singletrack 6. This is the perfect option for spouses or supporters along for the whole event, but who only want to ride some stages. Or maybe there are certain stages that you want to check out over others. Or enter with your partner and take turns riding and looking after the kids! ST3 Flex participants are not eligible for stage awards or overall rankings, but will receive a time plus an ST3 finisher’s shirt and medal after your third stage. Flex Pass riders may choose the Full Pint or Half Pint Course on a daily basis.
Timed Descent Awards (Full and Half Pint Combined):
Open Men and Open Women categories (individual times only), 1st place daily, 1st – 3rd overall.
