For Singletrack 6 our goal is to keep things simple: pick your registration (solo or teams of two), add an optional meal or transportation plan, book your hotels.

Dates: July 28th – August 2nd, 2018
2018 will be the fifth year of the Singletrack 6 experience. In the first four years we’ve discovered amazing communities and trail networks, made countless friends and experienced much that the mountains of British Columbia and Alberta have to offer. Of course, while certain locations are established hot spots for mountain biking, new trail networks continue to be born, developed and enhanced. After a year of forging new territory in West Kootenays, 2018 will be primarily a return to some tried and true favourites, with some new surprises thrown in. We will be highlighting some of the best trail networks we’ve discovered, while also showing off some new trails, or the routes we wished we could fit into prior years.
You can expect to see a route combining the Rockies, Purcells, Selkirks, and perhaps even some Shuswap or North Okanagan venues. The mix will be completely new, and while some will be familiar to those who have ridden prior editions, there are sure to be surprises for everyone. As always, our priority will be to highlight the best riding in each community, while keeping the journey as seamless and efficient as possible, with plenty of options for families along the way. For international travellers a Calgary arrival and departure option is expected.
Stages 1,2,3 – Golden, BC
The MacPherson trail network was used for the grand finale of the 2014 Singletrack 6 and we are stoked to be back in Revelstoke! This year’s stage will offer a new take on the MacPherson trails, with significant changes and a fun, flowy course through the cedar rainforest with peekaboo views of surrounding mountains. Our partner for Stage 4 is the Revelstoke Cycling Association.
Stage 5 – Kalamalka Provincial Park, Vernon, BC
Host to a stage in 2015, we will once again dip a toe in the Okanagan and Kal Park is the natural choice! Voted one of the favourite stages of the ’15 event, Kal park offers a challenging route climbing high above Kalamalka Lake. This stage is presented in cooperation with the North Okanagan Cycling Society.
Stage 6 – Silver Star Mountain Resort, BC
The final stage will take us high above the Okanagan to the Silver Star Bike Park. The resort has recently completed construction on their long-distance xc mountain bike trail, Beowulf. Taking you far beyond the ski runs and downhill trails, Beowulf offers 35km of meticulously built singletrack with a wilderness feel. Riders were thrilled with the small section that we were able to race in 2015, so we’ve excited to help celebrate the official opening of Beowulf with the crew at Silver Star!
